June was a busy month. First was our big ‘streetparty’ meeting to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.  The food was amazing, what a fabulous centrepiece cake! The themed activities included a quiz, wordsearch, guess the royal baby and a raffle with jubilee themed prizes.  Everyone had a wonderful time. Many, many thanks to all those who put so much time and effort into organising and preparing for the event.

Later in the month some of us went to see St Margaret’s Players perform Oklahoma! It was a lively show, with music, humour, dancing and a bit of tension too. As always from the Players the performance was brilliant, with fantastic sets and costumes, and the show received excellent reviews. We were also lucky enough to meet some of the cast afterwards.
