We have recently enjoyed meals at The Courtyard in Deal, and Salentino’s Italian Restaurant on Deal seafront, and an afternoon tea at the Elham Valley Vineyard. 

We have also had trips to the Dover Transport Museum (very interesting, so much to see), and to the Mudpie Ceramic Studio in Cheriton, where we painted pre-made ceramic items, which will be collected once they are fired. 

A number of us met up to support and listen to the Royal Marines Band concert.  We had a lovely, although poignant, afternoon. 

Our next outing is on Monday 12th  August, when we will visit the Salutation Gardens and the Quay in Sandwich.
